Advisor: Warwick, John
Thesis: An investigation of the near-stream stormflow processes in a small, Sierra Nevada watershed

Biography:

Mr. McGraw's research interests include modeling surface water and groundwater systems with regard to water quality and quantity. Recent projects include: an investigation of the near-stream unsaturated zone during warm-season rain events for a small, sub-alpine stream; a groundwater model used to determine the source of stream quality degradation for the Lower Truckee River; water quality assessment and modeling of the California portion of the Truckee River Basin; suspended sediment analysis of the middle Truckee River; and quality assurance of monitoring activities in Alpine County, California.

Mr. McGraw is also a member of the Truckee River Watershed Council, a volunteer organization whose mission is to protect and improve the water quality of the Truckee River Basin.
