Research Interests:

Dr. David Kreamer's (Ph.D., University of Arizona) research is primarily concerned with the environmental fate and transport of contaminants in the subsurface. He presently has several funded research projects. Past research includes work on the movement of pollutants associated with leaking underground storage tanks, vapor transport for potential contaminants affiliated with mixed (hazardous and low-level nuclear) waste at the Nevada Test Site, development of new geochemical methods for groundwater "fingerprinting", and hydrogeological and pollutant studies on a small Pacific atoll. Dr. Kreamer's research pursuits include: water supply and quantity in National Parks and other wilderness areas, vadose zone hydrology, groundwater - surface water interactions, and international hydrology and clean water supply
